Coronavirus Update

We’re Here For You

I just wanted to reach out to each of you to say hello during this challenging time and let you know that we are here for you. As you all know, we are not seeing patients in the normal fashion right now due to the COVID-19 outbreak, but I want to assure you that does not mean that your treatment will come to a stop.

If you have an upcoming appointment in the next few weeks, you don’t need to do anything now — we will be calling to reschedule those appointments. Please be patient with us. If you end up with a pokey wire, broken bracket, or anything that is hurting you, please email the office (info@rimortho.com) and we’ll get you taken care of.

For Patients In Braces

The brackets and wires we use will continue to straighten your teeth regardless of how often you come into the office. If you are wearing elastics, continue to wear them as much as possible to keep your bite correction moving forward. Please be very diligent to not break brackets. We can see you on an emergency basis if you are in discomfort, and we’ll do everything we can to make you comfortable. However, due to some restrictions, we may not re-bond broken brackets at this time. We may contact you to send some photos of your teeth for an evaluation and guidance.

For Patients Using Invisalign

You should continue to wear your aligners and elastics. If you are close to your next appointment and you are near your last aligners, you can anticipate a call from us or reach us to arrange getting you more aligners.

Virtual Consult (Doxy.me)

Serving our patients is always our top priority– even when our offices are closed. We setup a new virtual consult feature that is free, secure and requires no downloads or signup. If you are in need of a virtual consultation, please let our office know and we can set up an appointment.

While we don’t know how long this office closure will last due to the rapidly changing nature of the Coronavirus outbreak, we will keep you updated by email. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to stay up-to-date. Please know that we care about you and your treatment. We want to help you in every way we can. We’re going to get through this together. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions!

Stay healthy and happy! We’ll see you again very soon.

Truly yours,

Dr. Rim
